- Eyeglass Holder of a gold chain with hair pin at one end and gold clasp at other end; the clasp would attach to a drilled hole one edge of the spectacles and the hair pin would go in the hair as a safe guard for holding the glasses; spectacles had no ear piece attachment and were just secured with a metal piece that fit on the bridge of the nose.
