- Jacket bodice of black silk taffeta with front panel of colorful floral brocade on black silk and appliques of black jet beads; long sleeves with full shoulder; band collar of black taffeta; pointed waist at front and back; princess seams; waist area is accented with triangular appliques of lace-like jet beads with fringe; wrists are accented with panel of brocade and bead fringe and an inner band of ivory silk accented with tiny copper colored beads; concealed hook and eye closures at front; deep-V pleats from shoulder to waist open to reveal brocade and bead appliques in an asymmetrical design; fully lined in pinstriped cotton; fully boned within.
