- Oregon State University alumnus Thomas Kraemer helped to found the Gay Peoples Alliance, the first officially recognized gay student group at OSU, in 1976. The Thomas Kraemer Speech and Blog collection contains a presentation Kraemer made for Queer History Month in 2006 on the history of gay student groups at OSU from 1976 to 2006.
