- Note
- Gamucha translates as sweat towel. Most Gamucha have stripe and check pattern in red, orange or green. They are used by men as a towel after bathing, and as a shawl worn over the shoulder to dry sweat. Menial laborers and farm workers wear them as a head scarf or loin cloth. Gamucha can also be turned into a bola-like weapon to protect against wild animals by knotting a large stone into one end. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamucha
