- Description
- Governor Charles H. Martin addressing cadet formation, 1935-36. Photograph is probably from stock used for an OSC publication. Identified in pencil narration on reverse, reading like a press release: "Governor Charles H. Martin always dressed the part when he reviewed the cadet regiment and spoke to the men to receive commissions. Here in 1936 he advised the officers not to join the 'grouches and radicals' when they finished college. Probably all these men are now in active service." The last comment about active service would probably speak to WWII, placing these comments of that era. There is also a fountain pen caption at the top reverse: "Military Review 1935-36."
