This photograph was taken May 16, 1891, when the / U. of O. Sophomores held a picnic at Cold Springs in the McKenzie and about one half mile Easterly from / Thurston, [unreadable], Oregon Seniors were also present / Those present were : Mrs. J. G. Heudrel & Mrs. June / Luckey, Miss Hart, Levis, Adair, Tougue, Straight, Crain, Porter, Shelton, Morris, Matthews and Dorris; and / Mrs. Veazie, Withington, D.H. Roberts, Lauer, Marris, Miller, Hopkins, T.M. Roberts, Hisher, Dubli and / Hendersen / The names are underscored these ten were/ ten of the twelve persons who graduated as the U. of O. Class of 1893 / at the left are Veina Adair, C. E. Henderson, Etta Lewis, D. H. Roberts, in the order named / at the ringlet are: K. K. Kubli, Lawrence T. Harris and / Edith Tongue, in the under named / at the for end wearing a dirty hat is [unreadable] and / behind him is J. M. Roberts / [unreadable] / Oct - 30 - 1945 / Lawrence T. Harris
