Bernard H. Wragge was established in 1920 and was acquired by Sidney Wragge in 1931. The company closed in 1971. B. H. Wragge developed the idea of separates and produced coordinated ensembles. Sometimes the fabrics were designed by famous artists. Wragge is recognized for designing "timeless" clothes geared toward the young customer.
