Note
Larry Aldrich designed stylish clothing with conservative sensibility. In the late 1960s he was known for using Op Art (Optical Illusion art) in his fabrics. In 1957 Marie McCarthy was made the head designer of his company. Her name began to appear on the labels in the 1960s. (Vintage Fashion Guild)
