Note
Nefertiti (1370 to 1330 BC) was the beloved wife of Akhenaten (later called Amenhotep IV), an Egyptian Pharaoh who is recognized for his efforts to shift Egyptian polytheism to the worship of a singular deity...Aten, the Sun Deity. Nefertiti had six daughters, and one became the wife of Tutankhamun who ruled during the 18th Dynasty and is colloquially known as King Tut. The Lotus flowers were a symbol of the sun and used as an offering. As the Lotus flowers are born out of muddy water, they were symbolic of creation, rebirth and regeneration. The original Nefertiti bust sculpture resides in the Neues Museum in Berlin, Germany and is said to be one of the most copied works of Ancient Egypt (Wiki).
