Showing clusters of fruit, leave[s], and fruit buds, natural size. The fruit is russet brown in color, two or sometimes three celled and possesses large grit cells. The tree possesses a good degree of resistance to Pear Blight. It is a native of central and southern China, southern Korea, and extreme southern Japan. It is a promising stock for our cultivated pears. Photographed at Kingmen China, November, 1917.
