Hawthorne (left) was Dean of the School of Home Economics from 1965 to 1983. Dr. Clara A. Storvick (right) was a Professor of Foods and Nutrition from 1945-1973, served as chairperson of Home Economics Research at the Agricultural Experiment Station, and was Director of the Nutrition Research Institute.
