- James Herbert Jensen (right) served as Oregon State University's tenth president from 1961 until 1969. Dr. Chih H. Wang was a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Radiation Center and Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering, and head of the Department of Nuclear Engineering from 1950-1985.
