Skirt Suit of ivory woven celanese (acetate rayon): a) Jacket has rounded collar, long sleeves, and two slit pockets with lapels; button front closure with self-covered buttons; vertical darts shape at the waist; hits at lower hip; shoulder pads; unlined. b) Skirt has darts at front and back; four panel construction; waistband with button tab closure and side zipper; lower mid-length; unlined.
Provenance
Donor was a student at OSU "College of Design and Home Environment". Worn as a wedding dress by the donor's grandmother in the 1940's.
