- Description
- Black and white image. Two girls at the blackboard in a classroom with desks. Both girls wear long, dark dresses and have their hair pulled back in braids. The girl on the left of the photograph holds a pointing stick and the girl on the right holds a book. The chalkboards wrap around the walls of the classroom and contain writings and drawings pertaining to classroom lessons. There is a wooden table in the front of the room and many wooden desks with detailed ironwork for legs in rows. Books, papers, and pens are seen in each desk's cubby hole. A clock is mounted on the wall, as well as framed and unframed pictures.
