The six-story hotel was converted into 75 apartments in 1949.
Picture caption: The new hotel building being erected on the west side of Ella street, near Washington, is about half finished, and is to be ready for occupancy September 1. The hotel is being built for Dr. J. R. Wetherbee and J. McClung, and will cost, exclusive of the land 150,000. The picture above is made from the architects drawing of the building as it will appear when completed. .. The new hotel is under a ten year lease to Miss Frances Murphy, now of the Gladstone, and formerly with Mrs. Hill
