- G. Burton Wood (driver) was Director of the OSU Agricultural Experiment Station from 1966-1975. Previous to this, he was head of the Department of Agricultural Economics from 1951-1966. August LeRoy Strand (back seat, left) was president of Oregon State University from 1942-1961. Mollie Strand (back seat, right) was the wife of A. L. Strand.
