- Description
- Clifford V. Smith (left) was Vice President for Administration, Professor of Civil Engineering, Special Assistant to the Chancellor of the Oregon State System of Higher Education, and Professor and Head of Nuclear Engineering and Director of the Radiation Center at Oregon State from 1979-1987. Afterward, he was the African American chancellor of a four year institution in the University of Wisconsin system. Herbert R. Sinnard (right) was a professor of Agricultural Engineering from 1935-1957. Sinnard was also the head of the Architecture Department.
