Decoration: A large 'D' in elaborate black penwork.
Binding: Disbound.
Script: Gothic script sine pedibus (without foot serifs) in black ink. Staves ruled in red with brown bar lines, notes black.
Content note: Second leaf recto: part of the Mass Introit for Christmas Dawn: et vocabitur admirabilis deus princeps pacis pater futuris eculi cuius regni non erit finis. v. Domin[us]. Recto has complete red page number xlviii on upper right corner.
