- Wendell Slabaugh was a Chemistry professor from 1953-1980 (left). Milosh Popovich (second from left) was a faculty member for the Engineering department from 1941-1959. Popovich served as the Dean of the Engineering department from 1954-1959, then became Vice President of Oregon State University from 1959-1979. Dr. Chih H. Wang (second from right) was a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Radiation Center and Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering, and head of the Department of Nuclear Engineering from 1950-1985.
