- Description
- Roberta Nelson (center) graduated from Oregon State in 1927. Linus Pauling (right) was bestowed with an honorary Doctor of Science degree at Oregon State Agricultural College in June 1933. He was an alumni of Oregon State (Class of 1922) and later in his career a two-time Nobel Prize winner (Chemistry, 1954; Peace, 1962).
