Vest Bodice of peach-pink silk brocaded with a lattice ground and leafy vines and flowers in green, blue, yellow, white, pale blue and lilac; deep scoop neckline just below bust is trimmed in metallic lace; sleeveless armholes are trimmed in metallic lace in a scalloped shape; hand-sewn; fully lined, backed in blue linen; lacing closure at center-front with blue velvet, satin-back ribbon. Record says: Seville, Alberto Linares, Spanish 17th century. I can find no evidence to confirm this. --DLF 2019.
