Vest of wine red velvet heavily embellished with braided black cord embroidery and applique in curling and interweaving designs at center of both front-side panels; designs are plant-like, ornate and geometric; opening is faced with wine red kersey and has large buttonholes for lacing; ball tassels trim front panels; back of panels of olive green kersey with right-back side patch pocket with black fabric at lower half and twisted cord embroidery trim; back yoke has twisted cord embroidery and applique work in violet, blues and black; neckline is finished in a 7/8" striped woven band; vest is lined in muslin.
Scarf or Towel of hand-spun, hand-woven ecru cotton, silk heavily embroidered at each end in squares with eight-pointed within in salmon, tan, brown and white; open-work band at end; finished in attached fringe of black, cerise and gold silk; a zig-zag line on the inner end is trimmed in light green leaf motifs; each end also has three cypress tree motifs outlined in green; cypress motifs have a vessel underneath - sometimes the cypress motif symbolizes the tree of life.
Handbag (re-purposed from the sleeve trim from a woman's garment) of heavy-weight natural cotton embroidered with a distinctive star-like motif particular to this village- no other village uses this design; designs are in black with outline in blue, orange, red and green; top is trimmed with a diamond patterned band with alternating colors; metal eyelets; straps missing.
