McReynolds, who may have been an OAC music instructor, the 1907 team has a 5 win, 2 loss record in its initial season, including a 1-1 record against the University of Oregon.
Thomas M. Gatch was the fifth president of Oregon Agricultural College from 1897-1907. Gatch established a number of four year programs including electrical engineering, horticulture, and forestry.
