Home Game, Oregon State's top hitter, Kim Bradshaw, also gained a berth on the All Northern Division Team. He played from 1957-1959 and was from Weed, California. Photo was used in the 1960 Beaver Yearbook, page 181.
OSU has played a number of games over the years against local professional nines. The most frequent of these opponents were the Salem Senators, against whom the Beavers posted a6-10 mark between 1924 and 1955. In 1983, OSU won it's only contest with the Portland Beavers. It also played and lost games againstthe Eugene Emeralds in 1957 and 1959.They also lost to the Portland Colts in 1913, which was a farm team of the Portland Beavers.
