The 1969 season marked the one-hundredth anniversary of college football, and many teams across the country marked the occasion by wearing helmets with a special decal - the numeral "100" inside a football-shaped outline.
Bryan was a junior college All-American diver prior to coming to OSU, and participated in the 1969 NCAA Championships. Men’s intercollegiate swimming and diving began in 1922 and was eliminated in the mid-1970s.
