James R. Baggett was a faculty member at Oregon State University from 1956 until his retirement in 1995. He completed a Ph.D. in Horticulture at Oregon State College in 1956. As a faculty member, he continued the breeding work on peas, beans, cabbage, and broccoli that he had begun as a graduate student. He became head of the vegetable breeding program in 1973 when his mentor and colleague, William A. ("Tex") Frazier retired.
Albert N. Roberts completed a Bachelor of Science at Oregon State College in 1939 and a Master of Science in 1941. He was a Professor of Horticulture from 1940-1981.
Tom Enright (standing). Dr. Paul Bernier (second from left) was a Professor of Poultry Science from 1947-1977. Harry J. Mack (forth from right) completed a Master of Science at Oregon State College in 1952 and a PhD. in 1955. He was a Professor of Horticulture from 1955-1991.
