Brundage was named OSU's MVP and was named to numerous all-star teams after he helped the Beavers place third at regionals. Both Haugen and Brauning were drafted by major league teams, playing for the Helena Brewers (1989) and Pocatello Giants, respectively. Haugen went on to play for the Beloit Brewers (1990) and the Stockton Ports (1991); after the the Giants ended their farm team affiliation with the Pocatello franchise, Brauning played for the Clinton Giants (1989) and the San Jose Giants (1990).
