Edith Whitelock was born January 14, 1902 in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Oregon with her parents soon afterwards. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland, and entered Oregon Agricultural College in the fall of 1920. She graduated from OAC in 1924 with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics.
Steve and Patricia Gilley came to the Homecoming and '56 reunion along with Dr. Robert and Barbary Hayden Loomis. Photo was used in the December 1981 Oregon Stater, page 10. Robert "Bob" Loomis graduated with a general science degree in 1956 and served as the medical director for PacificSource Health Plans. Loomis was also president of the Oregon Medical Association. Loomis has been involved in the OSU Alumni Association Board, OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Beaver Athletic Student Fund. Loomis received the Martin Chaves Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.

Photo was used in the April 1980 Oregon Stater, vol.14 no.3. Bernard A. "Bud" Ossey was an engineer officer during WWII until he retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1967. Ossey was president of the OSU Dad's Club and Beaver Athletic Scholarship Fund. Ossey was inducted into the Engineering Hall of Fame in 2006.
Duane Johnson worked with the Extension Service for 41 years, 1959-2000. Johnson held several positions including Acting Program Leader and State 4-H Leader.
Thayne Dutson was the Dean of Agricultural Sciences from 1993-2008 and Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station from 1987-2008. Dutson's research focuses included enzymes and muscle tissue. Dutson helped expand the OSU Seafood Laboratory in Astoria and established the Food Innovation Center in Portland.
John Leffel was an OSU Extension agent for 30 years, 1962-1992. Leffel worked in numerous counties including Multnomah, Washington, Yamhill, Polk, and Clackamas County. Leffel's focus was livestock and crops.
