The US Army stock photograph is annotated on the reverse in blue carbon typing by the photographer, Sp4 William L. Durfee of the 124th Signal Battalion (spelling intact from photo): "Trophy stand, the different trophies that were given out to the different universities of the 11th Regiment of Pershing rifles. Standing in the background is Sp4 Harold A. Sullivan, 1st Battle Group, 12th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington." Of special note is the engraving on the large first place trophy which lists "OSU 1961-62" as winners.
