Scarf or Towel of hand-spun, hand-woven ecru cotton, silk heavily embroidered at each end in squares with eight-pointed within in salmon, tan, brown and white; open-work band at end; finished in attached fringe of black, cerise and gold silk; a zig-zag line on the inner end is trimmed in light green leaf motifs; each end also has three cypress tree motifs outlined in green; cypress motifs have a vessel underneath - sometimes the cypress motif symbolizes the tree of life.
Towel of fine woven linen or cotton with intricate embroidery at each end of six oval medallions of floral design with ribbons with bow at bottom; colors of light pink, blue and green silk and metallic gold threads; small floral band at bottom trim.
