Double bed size (about 92 x 88-inhces) silk quilt, coverlet for a davenport. Given as a gift to Mrs. Smith by the Senior Club at St. John's Community Center when she retired, made by club members about 1960. Given to her in 1962.

Skammell, a traditional Norwegian stool. Made about 1973, but Mr. S. made lots of them. All children use them to sit on, as step stool. Women used them in kitchen, men sat on them for stools. 20 1/2 x 13 x 12 inches. He cut out the sides by the dozens. Most had openings in the tops.
