Skammell, a traditional Norwegian stool. Made about 1973, but Mr. S. made lots of them. All children use them to sit on, as step stool. Women used them in kitchen, men sat on them for stools. 20 1/2 x 13 x 12 inches. He cut out the sides by the dozens. Most had openings in the tops.
