During the years right after World War II, final exams were often given in areas that could accommodate many students at a time, such as the MU Ballroom. Other locations included the gymnasiums in the Men’s Gymnasium (Langton Hall) and the Women’s Building.

Roland Dimick helped establish Oregon State College Department of Fish, Game, and Fur Animal Management. He was appointed department head in 1936 and served until 1963.
