Textile of hand-woven, hand-spun linen and wool in a diamond shape of dark green with yellow and black outline trim; a central design of a line with several intersecting lines, perhaps suggesting a plant; two white outlined red circles at the ends of one line and one teardrop red shape with small squares within and white outline; red shapes suggest fruit tree; the outer portion is plain linen; this design was probably cut from a linen tunic as were many of these designs.
Six textile fragments taken off of mummys' tunics; woven textiles of linen and wool with natural dyes of madder, saffron, indigo, murex shell, woad and hermes insect; designs of animals, plants, figures and mythology symbols; Clavi (vertical bands descending from shoulders); Orbiculli (medallions); Tabulae (square panels).
