Kirby Brumfield (middle) completed a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics at Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Agricultural Journalism at University of Wisconsin. He went on to play several roles at KATU in Portland, Oregon, including director of agricultural programing, talk show host, and weatherman. He also acted in several television programs in his career as well as receiving an honorary Ph.D. from OSU.
