Harry J. Mack completed a Master of Science at Oregon State College in 1952 and a PhD. in 1955. He was a Professor of Horticulture from 1955-1991. Dr. Myron C. Cropsey was a Professor of Agricultural Engineering from 1946-1975. Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA).

OSU's Black Cultural Center is named after him.
