Warren E. Kronstad was a faculty member in the Crop and Soil Science department from 1959-1998. Kronstad lead the Wheat Breeding Project, which created new varieties of wheat. Kronstad received the Oregon State University Distinguished Professor Award.

Albert N. Roberts (left) completed a Bachelor of Science at Oregon State College in 1939 and a Master of Science in 1941. He was a Professor of Horticulture from 1940-1981. Larry Boersma (right) was a Distinguished Professor of Crop and Soil Science from 1960-1999.
