Image taken from the Mall and Jefferson Way. The Food Technology Building was renamed Wiegand Hall after Ernest H Wiegand. Wiegand established Oregon Agricultural College’s horticultural products processing program in 1919. He served as head of the program and department until 1952.
Dr. Robert F. Cain was a Professor of Food Science and Technology from 1952-1980. Dr. Andrew Adrian Duncan was an associate professor and Extension Vegetable Production Specialist from 1958-1986.
