Board member Beatrice Walton Sackett is in the front row, left. Linus Pauling (not pictured) was also at the building’s dedication.
Building designed by John Bennes. The Chemistry Building was one of two buildings constructed on the Oregon State campus in the 1930s with assistance from the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
