D. Curtis Mumford (left) was a Professor of Agricultural Economics from 1938-1971. Jesse E. Parker (second from right) was a Professor of Poultry Science and Head of the Department at Oregon State from 1946-1978.

Ava Milam Clark was the Dean of the School of Home Economics for over 30 years, and through her frequent visits abroad, was instrumental to the development of home economics in multiple countries.
James R. Baggett (left) was a faculty member at Oregon State University from 1956 until his retirement in 1995. He completed a Ph.D. in Horticulture at Oregon State College in 1956. As a faculty member, he continued the breeding work on peas, beans, cabbage, and broccoli that he had begun as a graduate student. He became head of the vegetable breeding program in 1973 when his mentor and colleague, William A. ("Tex") Frazier retired.
