The Three Sisters is considered by Mr. J.S. Diller of the U.S. Geological Survey as probably affording the most interesting field for glacial studies in the United States with the exception of Alaska.
Malheur County, Eastern Oregon is the scene of this rich deposit which undoubtedly contains tremendous values in nitrate. Some extensive prospecting now is in progress there and it is anticipated that this ledge will soon be developed on a commercial basis.
