G. Burton Wood served as Director of the OSU Agricultural Experiment Station from 1966 until his retirement in 1975. Previous to this, he served as head of the Department of Agricultural Economics from 1951 until 1966.
James W. Dunn completed a Bachelor of Science at Oregon State College in 1951. He was Director of Development for most his career from 1963-1988, ending his career as Director of Estate Planning.
Dr. Emery Neal Castle was a Professor of Agricultural Economics from 1957-1976. He returned to OSU from 1986-1992 to serve as chair of the University Graduate Faculty of Economics. From 1992 to 1994, Castle chaired the Extended Education Transition Committee.
James H. Jensen served as President of Oregon State University from 1961-1969. Within these eight years, Jensen expanded OSU faculty and facilities significantly and founded the 25 Year Club, which recognized employees who have worked at OSU for 25 years.
James E. Oldfield received a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Oregon State University in 1951. Oldfield served as the head of the Animal Science Department from 1967-1983.
David Bowman Nicodemus was a Physics professor, College of Science administrator, and Dean of Faculty at OSU from 1950 to 1986. Nicodemus also served as a physicist at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory from 1943 to 1946, assisting with the Manhattan Project.

Robert Lee Phillips was a Professor of Speech, Journalism. He also served as Acting Vice President for University Relations, and Interim Director of Continuing Education and Summer Term at Oregon State University from 1957-1988.
Dr. Chih Hsing Wang was a Professor of Chemistry, Professor at the Science Research Institute, Director of the Radiation Center and Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering, and Head of Department of Nuclear Engineering from 1950-1985. He completed a Master of Science at Oregon State College in 1947 and a Ph.D. in 1950.
Edrie Dale Trout was Professor of Radiological Physics in the Oregon State University General Science Department from 1962 until his retirement in 1976. Before coming to OSU, Trout worked for General Electric in research and development projects involving all areas of radiology. In addition to being instrumental in the formation of the OSU Radiation Center, Trout established the X-Ray Science and Engineering Laboratory in 1965 and served as its Director until his retirement in 1976. Trout died in 1977. Trout earned his BS degree from Franklin College in 1922; in 1952 Franklin College awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science degree.
Andrew Jackson Culver, Jr. was an Associate Plant Pathologist and courtesy associate professor at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Agency from 1950-1980.
John R. Davis was a Professor and Dean of Agricultural Engineering, Associate Director of Athletics, and Provost for Calendar Conversion at OSU from 1971-1990.
Warren E. Kronstad was a faculty member in the Crop and Soil Science department from 1959-1998. Kronstad lead the Wheat Breeding Project, which created new varieties of wheat. Kronstad received the Oregon State University Distinguished Professor Award.
