Harriet Wilson Foster was a psychology instructor at Oregon State College in 1946. Foster was born in 1925, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1945, and received her Master of Arts from Columbia University in 1946. Before coming to OSC, she was an instructor in psychology at the College of William and Mary. Her annual salary was $2,500. She was hired on a ten-month term basis. She was offered a re-appointment as psychology instructor for the following 1946-1947 school year, but resigned from the position and ended her teaching career.
