Dr. Elmer C. Stevenson (left) was Professor of Horticulture and Dean of the School of Agriculture from 1967-1981. Dr. John Ritchie Cowan (second from left) was a Professor of of Agronomy and Head of Agronomic Crop Science from 1948-1984. Dr. Wilbur T. Cooney (second from right) was Professor of Poultry Science and Dean of the School of Agriculture from 1937-1980. G. Burton Wood (right) served as Director of the OSU Agricultural Experiment Station from 1966 until his retirement in 1975. Previous to this, he served as head of the Department of Agricultural Economics from 1951 until 1966.
Glenn L. Jackson (foreground, left) was a member of the Oregon State University Board of Trustees. Frederick Earl Price (foreground, center) was an Agriculture Engineer for the Agriculture Experiment Station, and served as dean of the School of Agriculture from 1950 to 1965.
Roger K. Fendall (standing) was a Professor of Crop and Soil Science, Assistant Dean, and Head Advisor in the School of Agriculture at Oregon State University from 1968-1994.
William (Bill) M. Langan (second from right) was an associate professor and Head Advisor in the School of Agriculture from 1935-1971. James H. Jensen (right) served as president of Oregon State University from 1961-1969. Within these eight years, Jensen expanded OSU faculty and facilities significantly and founded the 25 Year Club, which recognized employees who have worked at OSU for 25 years.
Roger K. Fendall (right) was a Professor of Crop and Soil Science, Assistant Dean, and Head Advisor in the School of Agriculture at Oregon State University from 1968-1994. Kirby Brumfield (middle) completed a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics at Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Agricultural Journalism at University of Wisconsin. He went on to play several roles at KATU in Portland, Oregon, including director of agricultural programing, talk show host, and weatherman. He also acted in several television programs in his career as well as receiving an honorary Ph.D. from OSU.
