Caroline Starker Young (left). Thurman James Starker (second from left) was a professor of Forestry from 1922-1942. Arthur V. Young (second from right). Crawford H. "Scram" Graham (right) received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State Agricultural College in 1935 and served as the Director of Alumni Relations for Oregon State University from 1961-1978.
George Wilcox Peavy was the first Dean of Forestry from 1913-1940 and president of Oregon State College from 1932-1940. Peavy founded an arboretum that would act as a laboratory for forestry students.
Leonard Klein (left) graduated from Oregon State in 1938. Robert R. Reichart (right) received a B.S. in Commerce from Oregon Agricultural College in 1917 and retired in 1974 as both a Professor of Education and Forestry. Reichart was 102 at the time of this photograph.
Dr. T. J. Starker (second from right) was a Professor of Forestry from 1922-1942 and long-time business owner in Corvallis. Stonewall Andrew Jackson (second from left) was Benton County Extension Agent from 1939-1972. Dr. Horace B. Cheney (left) was head of the Soils Department from 1952-1978. Russell E. Ellis (right) was Professor of Architecture from 1949-1983.
Robert R. Reichart (left) received a B.S. in Commerce from Oregon Agricultural College in 1917 and retired in 1974 as both a Professor of Education and Forestry. Stuart E. Knapp (second from right) was a Professor of Veterinary Parasitology from 1959-1979 and also served as director of the honors program and Dean of Undergraduate Studies before moving to Montana State University.
