Description: Two ships unloading supplies on the Alaska Home Railway Wharf in Valdez, Alaska. Two large ships are docked side by side to a wooden pier. In the foreground of the image are two men in dark garments and hats standing on boats looking at the camera. Five various small boats are floating in the water near the wharf. A wooden bridge is seen on the left hand side of the image, on which is the blurred motion of a moving vehicle. Three wooden buildings can be seen on the wharf as well as silhouetted figures behind the wooden buildings. A large snow-capped mountain range is partly visible through the clouds in the background.
