Scarf of pale green and cerise silk batiste with Bandhani tie-dye designs of blue, red and white dots; sheer gossamer fabric has gathered wrinkled texture from the tie-dye; main body is green with cerise ends.
Handkerchief (Chamba Rumal) of fine natural muslin embroidered in soft colorful silks with three centered figures of Hindu Deities with floral motifs, bird, animal, plant motifs scattered throughout; embroidery is identical on both sides; figures and animals are framed in a square of cross stitch; other motifs are blocked within cross stitch frames; overall cross stitch forms a tic-tac-toe design; drawn lines of vines have not been embroidered; edges of square textile have been stitched in different colors of the embroidery; silk colors of blue, yellow, brown, orange and white appear to have been vegetable dyed.
