The 1956 alumni include Bert Frey, Dr. Robert Loomis, Coach Joe Avezzano and Dick Gervais. Photo was used in the December 1981 Oregon Stater, p.11. Robert "Bob" Loomis graduated with a general science degree in 1956 and served as the medical director for PacificSource Health Plans. Loomis was also president of the Oregon Medical Association. Loomis has been involved in the OSU Alumni Association Board, OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Beaver Athletic Student Fund. Loomis received the Martin Chaves Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
Donald Robinson, Hazen Sandwick, Keith Chamberlain, Wilbur Travis, Ivan Weikel, Arnold Ebert, Henry Scott and Irwin Krenke returned to campus to celebrate a 50th anniversary of their 5,500 mile trip to Chicago for the World's Fair. They were Agricultural Engineering students when they made the trip.

Hill coached seventeen seasons at Oregon State (1978-79 to 1994-95), compiling a record of 274 wins and 206 losses. In 1980 her team went 20-8 and won the NIT championship; six of her teams had twenty or more wins. Four of Hill’s teams played in the NCAA tournament. Also pictured are players Jan Martin and Robyn Clark. Both Martin and Clark scored more than 1,000 points during their careers at OSU. Clark is also in the OSU top ten in career rebounds and steals. Alberta Johnston was a faculty member for the Extension Service from 1963-1990. Starting as a Home Management Specialist in 1963, Johnston eventually became the Deputy Director of the Extension Service in 1987. Her focus was home economics.
