OSU's marching band accompanied the football team to Los Angeles for the 1965 Rose Bowl. One of the band's activities was marching in this parade in Disneyland. Bruns, an alum with the Class of 1939, poses at the corner of Mickey Avenue and Dopey Drive at Walt Disney Studios, where he was music director for twenty-five years. One of his best known compositions for Disney was "The Ballad of Davy Crockett."
