Blodgett Tract probably dated in the early 1940s. Shows large area of burned over land that had been logged by Manary Logging Co. in the 1920's and early 1930's and burned over by the Big Creek fire in 1936.(2)

During the summer of 1969, a portable yarder and truck that was owned by the Northern Lumber Co. rolled off the edge of the Cape Perpetua auto tour road. Here the stell tower lays along the shoulder of the road after it had been retrieved.(2)
